Heart & Soul is calling on passionate volunteers to be a part of the 11th Annual Heart & Soul Music Stroll in 2025! This incredible event brings communities together to celebrate the power of live music while enriching the lives of those who are often isolated from society.
For the ninth year, Heart & Soul, along with the neighbors surrounding the Imperial Park, will present our incredible, free, family-friendly Music Stroll in Sugarhouse, June 10, 2023.
40 musical acts will perform on 13 porches, driveways, and lawns—or on our main stage—throughout this Sugar House neighborhood (along with an ocean of food trucks). Join us as Heart & Soul celebrates 29 years of bringing the healing power of music to isolated neighbors along the Wasatch Front.
Music begins at 3 p.m. with the Stratford Street Big Band at Imperial Park at the corner of Atkin and Filmore Streets.
40 plus bands will be playing on lawns and porches along Filmore and Glenmare Streets from 4 - 7 p.m.
We’ll come back together at 7 p.m. at Imperial Park, enjoy great music with the rock n' roll band JABOOM and will announce raffle prize winners at 8 p.m.

That “four months” is just the organizers’ time, securing permits, organizing acts and volunteers, soliciting donations, etc. The bands, of course, have put in centuries of practice.
